What’s the event for?

This event is to celebrate the release of  season 1 of our new webseries Walk of Shame. We also are introducing “The Beat & Path” to the world.Proceeds from the even go towards some really cool DC Organizations:  Dupont Underground and MixMajor. Two really cool organizations doing cool things in the district.  We hope you will join us as this is the first of more to come.

What is The Beat & Path?

The Beat & Path is a “digital media collective”. We focus on creating content on new media platforms. We love music, we love artists, and we love life. Our passion is creating experiences (online and offline) that are unique, innovative, and accessible. We’ve just completed the first season of our award winning web series “Walk of Shame”.

What is Walk of Shame?

“Walk of Shame,” is a web series that follows an underground DJ and a fashion intern as they confront artistic authenticity and self-actualization in the only way they know how: booze, music, and sex. The story is told in a unique format we call the “visual mixtape”.

The project is the brainchild of Brandon Russell and was created as a graduate masters thesis for American University’s School of Communication. He produced the web series with immeasurable help from Producer Sonya Dunn of JEMH Entertainment.
